Sunkissed

In Idaho there is an oasis style lake in the north past Ketchum called Redfish Lake. During the summer this place is packed with people on boats and visiting the nearby lodge. In the winter the road in is completely snowed out. One morning I drove as far as I could to get close and walked through 2 feet of snow to reach the lake for a shot like this. The mountain only recieves sunlight in the winter rarely and this angle is around 8am. Three hours of hiking in the snow for this shot, and I’d do it all over again.
