Rebranding Anavasi Diagnostics
Mortgage Loans don’t have to be boring
I spearheaded the rebranding of B&T Lending Team, a mortgage loan officer group looking to refresh their identity and better connect with home buyers on social media. As the lead designer and Creative Director, I crafted a new logo, defined a color palette, and selected typography, aiming to create a modern, approachable brand that could stand out in a competitive digital landscape. The challenge was to transform their dated image into something that felt trustworthy yet fresh, appealing to a younger, social media-savvy audience.
The main hurdle was balancing the professionalism expected of a financial service with a warm, inviting aesthetic that would resonate on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. I designed a logo that cleverly integrated the “B” and “T” with an ampersand, using a deep navy for reliability and a mustard yellow for optimism, while the color palette—spanning shades like Puget Sound, Rain, Lakeside, Overcast, and Sundrop—evoked a sense of calm and clarity, mirroring the home-buying journey. The typography was chosen for its clean, modern lines, ensuring legibility and a friendly tone across digital touchpoints.
The rebrand positioned B&T Lending Team as a relatable yet authoritative choice for home buyers, with the new identity tailored for social media engagement through its bold yet approachable design. Though specific outcomes aren’t available, the refreshed brand was built to drive connection and trust, aligning perfectly with their goal of reaching more clients online. This project reflects my 10 years of Fortune 100 experience, where I’ve learned to craft brands that don’t just look good but speak directly to their audience’s needs.
